What is ESG ?

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria are the dimensions encompassing our activities that can have impacts on society or the environment.

Disposal​

FeetMe adheres to international environmental standards, including those comparable to Directive 2011/65/EU, which limits the use of specific hazardous materials in electronic equipment (known as the RoHS directive), and Directive 2012/19/EU concerning waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE directive). We encourage all our global customers not to treat FeetMe products as regular municipal waste, but to leverage the respective recycling and collection systems available in their regions. For example:
In France, customers can utilize the Ecosystem.
In Belgium, the Recupel system is available.

Process

FeetMe adheres to all environmentally sustainable procedures as mandated by global standards, exemplified by EU regulations.

Good manufacturing practices (GMP)

FeetMe ensures that its medical devices are manufactured according to quality standards. FeetMe is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified.

Heavy metals & halogens

FeetMe is compliant with requirements for heavy metals and halogens in the product.

Pain management

North America holds the largest market for pain management devices with >50% share, followed by Europe and Asia Pacific. FeetMe’s presence in this market stems from the demand for drug-free therapy and the availability of well-planned reimbursement and insurance coverage.

Data privacy

FeetMe avoids increasing the risk of data exposures by ensuring that patient data is protected and remains confidential. FeetMe insoles, applications and dashboards are GDPR and HIPAA compliant.

Opioids​

Opioids are often used as medications because they contain chemicals that relax the body and can relieve pain. This can be dangerous because opioids can be highly addictive, and overdoses and death are common when used. FeetMe’s rehabilitation program uses exercises to improve gait in patients while avoiding the use of opioid drugs.

Mental & Physical Health

Emotional conditions linked to mental health in the elderly often correlate with their walking patterns. Ensuring safe mobility is a crucial objective for active living in older adults. Through the use of FeetMe insoles and the FeetMe Rehabilitation program, we strive to minimize their risk of stumbles and falls by improving their overall physical and mental condition. Additionally, the FeetMe coach is utilized to monitor emotional responses.

e. Environmental Impact Assessment: We conduct regular assessments to identify and address the potential environmental impacts of our products, manufacturing processes, and supply chain activities. These assessments help us identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to minimize our environmental impact, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions and evaluating the lifecycle impact of our products.

We conduct rigorous testing, clinical evaluations, and post-market surveillance to ensure that our products perform as intended and pose minimal risk to patients.

c. Clinical Trials: When collaborating with pharmaceutical clients on clinical trials, we ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines. We prioritize the protection of trial participants’ rights, safety, and well-being. This includes obtaining informed consent, maintaining trial data confidentiality, and adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
